Ashley Sanchez

Ashley Sanchez is a professional Latin Ballroom and American Rhythm style champion and instructor. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida and has trained in styles of dance including contemporary, ballet, flamenco, jazz, hip hop and ballroom. Her competitive career began as an amateur competitor which included winning and placing in the finals of the nations top competitions. Her greatest results as an amateur competitor was winning a world title and becoming a 3x National champion. She turned pro at the early age of 18 and is one of the youngest dancers in the nation competing at the professional level. Her results as a professional competitor include winning a United States National championship title and placing in the finals of numerous regional and national competitions. As an instructor and choreographer, she has developed highly competitive youth latin ballroom competitors and programs across South Florida. Most recently, some of her TV and Film work include being featured on season 16 of “So You Think You Can Dance” and placing in the top 10 girls, she is a pro dancer on Univision’s Latin dance show “Mira Quien Baila” and for Australia’s Channel 7 “The Real Dirty Dancing” TV show. She is the main dancer in Pitbulls “Me Quedare Contigo” music video and has danced for Simon Fullers hit reality TV show “Ballroom Blitz” that premiered on TLC as well as Americas Got Talent. 

Ashley strives to bring her relatable energy to all aspiring young dancers and share her passion of Latin Ballroom with the next generation.
