Riley Watts
Riley Watts is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher based in Northampton, MA. He is a full-time concert dance faculty member at CLI Conservatory in Southampton, MA, where he teaches Ballet and Improvisation Lab. He received his BFA from The Juilliard School and went on to dance on a widely international scale with The Forsythe Company, Netherlands Dance Theater 2, Bern Ballet, and Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet. He has worked closely with choreographer William Forsythe for the last 14 years and continues to dance and stage his choreography worldwide, most recently at the Venice Biennale and next season at The Juilliard School. Riley has performed and taught dance workshops across the USA, UK, Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia, collaborated in neuroscience/dance PhD research, and won a Princess Grace Award and Leonide Massine/Positano Prize, Italy.
