Kirsten Evans
Kirsten Evans is a freelance artist, dancer, and writer based in NYC and Providence, RI. As a Company Dancer with Festival Ballet Providence (now Ballet RI) from 2010-2023, Kirsten performed a wide repertoire of principal roles in both classical and contemporary works by notable choreographers including George Balanchine, Christopher Wheeldon, Trey McIntyre, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Viktor Plotnikov.
Kirsten is also the founder and director of Revolve Dance Project, where she has worked with a wide range of choreographers including Lauren Lovette, Jeffrey Cirio, and Kurt Douglas. She also appears in the 2025 Amazon Original Series Étoile, choreographed by Marguerite Derricks, written/directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino.
Kirsten graduated summa cum laude from Providence College with a BA in Journalism. Her writing has been published in several magazines and newspapers, including Pointe and Dance Magazine. She has been hired as media coverage for the Vail Dance Festival by British Magazine "The Wonderful World of Dance" and has authored two books.
